Blocked from Bloglines
Gosh, my feed hasn’t been working in Bloglines all week. I guess this happens to most people at some point, but mentally it feels like someone has put a silencer on this blog. I suppose that’s a good thing, for a while anyway. If you are reading this in Bloglines, the connection has obviously been re-established.

It’s happened to me in the past and I had to send them an email. Usually the response is that they reset the feed and everythign works for a few more months.
I just thought you had taken a break from blogging.

Hey EFL Geek and Aaron, thanks for keeping in touch! Now that my feed in Bloglines is working again, I feel connected again. These few weeks are extremely busy for me as I’m doing a lot of presenting and travelling, so I’ll try to keep posting as thoughts come.

Yeah, it seems Bloglines feeds “die” after a while, especially sites that get a lot of traffic. At the moment my Bloglines feed for Two Cents’ Worth hasn’t been updated since early May, so you’re in good company! I’ve usually worked around it by unsubscribing then re-subscribing again. Kinda clunky, tho.

You must have been in quite agony. I’ve started my blog just recently, and although I know that there will be no comment or change in my blog, I’m almost obsessed to check it everyday.
My husband is in the same occupation as you here in Dunedin, New Zealand. He also taught in Otaru for two years.
His class blog is http://williamclassblog2006.blogspot.com/
He would be envious of you living in Japan for 6 years, and would be delighted to see your blog, too.
