The Carnival of English Language Teaching
Daniel Mangrum, an English teacher in the U.A.E., has been working hard to get a blog carnival going on the theme of English language teaching, called The Carnival of English Language Teaching (CELT). The idea is that each month, a different person interested in the theme will host the carnival on his or her weblog. To me, this means creating a post that in some way tries to synthesize, in a reflective and critical way, the current topics and themes being written about or discussed throughout the perceived ELT-blogging community. For each author, this will undoubtedly be different.
I like the CELT idea very much and would like to see it develop further. I will be hosting the June issue, while Aaron in Mexico and EFL Geek in Korea will host the next two respectively. Look for the CELT issues on the 25th of each month.

If the CELT really takes off, adding a page to my wiki, might be a good idea so that there is a central location linking to the various posts.

as for the wiki…i don’t see why not.
of course, the original URL will do that as well…then again, i’m sure Geek’s wiki will see more traffic.
truth be told, i could see a time when the original URL might be retired…i’ll just have to figure out what to do with the Gmail address i use admin purposes…
looking forward to your turn at the helm Aaron…
