Just read the Dyned site. Automatacity 'teaching parrot fashion, is nothing new. It's shown on US TV everyday 'Sesame Street'! Look up the Centerpede's dilemma. Don't see this system used in Australia, UK South Afrika foir foreigners learning English. What's wrong with 'traditional' teaching of English?

DyNed is a good CALL programme for teaching and learning English. This software is used in my country for primary students . We , the teacher of English, are trying to make use of this software in our classes and The Ministry is giving priority in the State Schools for teaching English via DyNed.

I wish there were, Marielle. But even if there were, I think the cost of software such as DynEd is far beyond the reach of the personal user. As far as I understand, it would only be affordable for large groups of users, like big corporations and institutions.

I took a look at the DynEd webpage and it seems to be a very useful program for English learners. Now I am wondering, is there is anything like this for learning Japanese?
