My Link Order
I recently installed the My Link Order Wordpress plugin for a new site I’m starting to put together for the East Asia Center, which enables me to manually order links in the sidebar without having to edit php files.
Can anyone recommend an effective anti-spam WP plugin? Spam on my sites is seriously getting out of control.

[...] After feeling a little put off by not being able to install the plugin through my own inability to understand how ftp is supposed to work, I read a blog of Aaron’s wherein he asked his readers if anyone knew of a good spam-fighting client, and a person named Rudolf responded giving a list of spam-fighting tools recomending Akismet. I asked him to upload it for me because ftp hurts my head, and he informed me that it was already uploaded–magic! But, he also mentioned, that I’d have to get an API code to activate it. So, one more hoop to jump through… I opened a blog account at wordpress.org and I was then e-mailed an API code which I used for my friends-world.org blog. I wonder if I needed to open that account at wordpress.org or not, but it doesn’t matter for me now. Hopefuly the spamming will stop! If it doesn’t, you’ll hear about it from me. Thank you, Aaron, for being such a big help on the matter. [...]
