Webpublishing Terminology

I just realized that I’ve been using the term ‘interactive webpublishing’ to describe our webpublishing activities here at the East Asia Center
this semester.  A feedster search indicated that nobody else seems
to be using this term; have I got it wrong?  I’ve seen and may
even have used the terms ‘personal webpublishing’, ‘personal knowledge publishing‘, and ‘dynamic webpublishing’,
but I wonder whether, in educational contexts, the semantical
differences are significant or whether we are all writing about the
same thing?  It’s got me re-examining my use of the language. I
think ‘personal knowledge publishing’ is too narrow, for it doesn’t
suggest other - sometimes simultaneous - uses of the technology.
‘Personal webpublishing’ fails to suggest the interactive, social
nature of it; while ‘interactive webpublishing’ and ‘dynamic
webpublishing’ de-emphasize the personal aspects - for it’s both
personal and interactive; inner and outer.  So maybe ‘personal interactive
webpublishing’ is more accurate and could be shortened to
‘interpersonal webpublishing’.  Another alternative could be
‘interdependent webpublishing’, which evokes the potential paradigm
shift in consciousness that these webpublishing practices can bring
about through consistent and mindful use.
