IWP Week 10 - Building the Learning Community - Part 1
For the next two weeks we’ll continue our regularly scheduled blogging
activities, with a particular focus on building a Personal Learning
Community (PLC) by using RSS and aggregators to tap into and organize
relevant feeds of news and information, as well as put ourselves in
touch with the writings of other human beings around the world.
Our Goals for Week 10
- Review discussion of RSS and aggregators from Weeks 8 and 9
- Listen to each learner’s story about building a personal learning community and share ideas
- Examine other ways to take advantage of RSS feeds, such as subscribing to search results and bookmarks (FURL)
- In light of our discussions, continue our efforts at personal webpublishing and community building
