98 tons of plants!
Did you know that appoximately 98 tons of prehistoric plant material is needed to produce 1 gallon of gasoline?! That’s how much vegetation is necessary to create enough oil (over millions of years) to manufacture a gallon of gas. Imagine all those plants being shoved into the tank of an SUV. That’s amazing! I wonder how the rapidly decreasing supply of fossil fuels will affect our president’s plan to make hydrogen powered cars. Fossil fuels are definitely on their way out. Read more about it.
